Risk Disclaimer
Read this before you use anything QuantGator™ publishes. By using our indicators, our news feed, our shared levels, the Quant Trading System or anything taught in our workshop, you accept what follows.
1. Nothing here is financial advice
QuantGator™ builds analysis and education tools. Nothing on this website, in our Telegram channels, in our TradingView scripts, in the Quant Trading System or in our workshop is:
- financial, investment, legal or tax advice;
- a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any instrument;
- an offer or solicitation to enter any transaction;
- a personal recommendation of any kind.
We do not know your financial position, your account size, your risk tolerance, your tax situation or your objectives, and nothing we publish is tailored to them. We are not a registered investment adviser, research analyst or broker in any jurisdiction.
2. You can lose money
Trading involves the possibility of financial loss. Only trade with money you are prepared to lose. Factors outside your control may cost you everything in your trading account, and in leveraged products your losses can exceed the money you deposited.
3. Our tools read the market, they do not predict it
Our indicators, levels and news scores describe what has happened or what is happening. They do not forecast what will happen.
Specifically:
- Indicators draw levels, bands and candle states from price, volume and open interest. A level is an observation, not a signal to act.
- QuantNews applies a model to a headline and returns a per-ticker score. A score is a reading of published text, not a view on where the price is going.
- Quant Levels are markups published by analysts. They are opinions.
- The Quant Trading System analyses trades you have already closed. It reports on the past. It does not place, manage or size trades.
4. Past performance is not a guide to future results
Any figure, chart, statistic, backtest, sample export or illustration shown by us or produced by our tools is historical or illustrative. It does not indicate future performance. Sample data shown on this website is generated for demonstration and does not represent real trading.
5. Hypothetical and simulated results
Several of our tools produce hypothetical output. You should read it as such.
The Edge Scanner enumerates slices of your own past record and ranks them by statistical significance. It is looking backwards, with the benefit of hindsight, at trades that have already happened. A slice that scored well historically is not a prediction that it will score well again, and the more slices you test the more likely it is that one looks good by chance alone. The tool applies a minimum sample size and reports when a result sits within normal variance; heed it.
The Staircase projects capital forward from parameters you choose. A projection is arithmetic applied to your assumptions. It is not a forecast, and it does not know what the market will do.
Sample and demonstration data shown on this website and inside our tools is generated for illustration. It is not a record of real trading by anyone.
Hypothetical and simulated results have inherent limitations. They do not involve financial risk, and no simulated record can account for the effect of trading with real money — including slippage, commission, partial fills, liquidity and the psychological pressure of a position moving against you. They are prepared with the benefit of hindsight. There are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical results and the actual results subsequently achieved.
No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to any figure shown.
6. Alerts and delivery
QuantNews alerts are delivered over Telegram. Delivery is not guaranteed. Alerts may be delayed, duplicated, malformed or not arrive at all, whether because of our systems, Telegram’s, or the networks in between.
Do not build a process that depends on an alert arriving, and do not treat a missing alert as information. We accept no liability for a trade placed, or not placed, on the basis of an alert.
7. Testimonials and results
Where we publish a testimonial, a screenshot or a member’s reported result, it is that person’s account of their own experience. We do not audit member trading accounts and we cannot verify what is reported to us.
Individual results are not typical and are not a promise of what you will achieve.
8. TradingView and Telegram are independent
Our indicators run on TradingView. Our feeds are delivered over Telegram.
Neither company is affiliated with us, sponsors us, or endorses our products. We do not control their availability, their pricing, their policies or their decisions about our scripts. You need your own account with each, and their terms govern your use of them.
9. We guarantee no outcome
QuantGator™ does not guarantee the profitability of any trade, any strategy, any indicator, any level or any use of our tools. We make no representation that using our products will be profitable or will avoid losses.
Where our tools report that a pattern is not statistically significant, that report is itself a feature, not a fault.
10. Your decisions are your own
Every financial decision you make is yours. Every trade you place is yours. We take no responsibility for money made or lost as a result of using our systems, our education or anything on this website.
You are responsible for confirming that your use of our products is lawful where you live, and for your own tax and reporting obligations.
11. Zen Suite is not medical guidance
Zen Suite contains breathing exercises, a meditation timer, attention drills and a discipline log. It is a set of practice tools for decision quality.
It is not medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, and it is not a diagnosis or treatment for any condition. Stop any exercise that feels uncomfortable. If you have a heart, respiratory, neurological or psychiatric condition, or you are pregnant, speak to a qualified clinician before doing breathing exercises. Zen Suite reads nothing from your trading record and changes nothing in it.
12. Availability
We do not warrant that our tools, feeds or website will be available without interruption or free of error. Signals may be delayed or missed. Do not rely on any QuantGator™ product as the sole input to a decision with money at stake.
