Cookie and Storage Policy
The short version
This website sets no cookies. There is no advertising network on it, no analytics tag, and nothing that tracks you from one site to another. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What we do use is browser storage — data your own browser keeps, on your own machine, for the Quant Trading System to work at all.
Why browser storage, not cookies
A cookie is sent to a server with every request. Browser storage is not: it stays on your device unless the application deliberately sends it somewhere.
The Quant Trading System computes everything in your browser — every metric, chart and pattern comes from your own imported record. Browser storage is where that record lives between visits. Using cookies for it would mean shipping your trading history to a server on every page load, which is precisely what we avoid.
Once accounts exist
When account sync ships we will set one session cookie so the application knows you are signed in. It will be:
- strictly necessary, and therefore not requiring consent under most regimes;
- httpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot read it;
- Secure and SameSite, so it is not sent over plain HTTP or to other sites;
- limited to identifying your session, carrying no personal data itself.
We will update this page before that happens.
Third-party services
Pages that embed or link to TradingView or Telegram send you to those services, which set their own cookies under their own policies. We do not control them and do not receive what they collect.
